Date of Event: Oct 22, 2005
Location: Eklutna Lake Campsite
Responsible Person: Committee of Troop 219

Person(s) Completing Report: Grady Hopper
Person(s) posting to web: Grady Hopper

After many months of planning, some scouts from the troop and some adult leaders went to Eklutna Campsite early to set up the basic things, like tents, stations, and fires. When it came time, everyone finally showed up, and we all got ready for the first night as well as the opening ceremony. Then it was off to bed. On the second day, it was time to go to the stations. There was First Aid, Fire building, Man through the Ice, Flag Raising, Knot Boards, Uniform Inspections, and a quiz to be completed throughout the day. At the end of the day, the campfire was lots of fun with all of the different skits that the patrols performed. After that, everyone went to sleep for the next day. In the morning, the final tallies were made, and ribbons handed out to the leading patrols. Then everyone packed up and went home.

Best Part of the Event: Demonstrating our scouting skills
Worst Part of the Event: It was cold outside.
Scoutmaster/Asst Scoutmaster Comments: A big thanks to every adult leader that made this campboree possible.
