Historian Activity Report

Event Title: Moon bounce station visit
Date of Event: Mar 08, 2007
Location: Trail from Big Lake to Luce's lodge
 Responsible Person: Mr. Jeff Duft

Person(s) Completing Report: Grady Hopper
Person(s) posting to web: Grady Hopper

We started at Big Lake, but couldn't go directly across the ice for all the water, so we went around the lake for a while, then started going through trails and smaller lakes, until we got to the Big Swamp. After that, we all started across the Big Swamp until we got to the Susitna and Yentna Rivers, then we followed them to Luce's, where we enjoyed very good burgers and fries. After we left Luce's we followed the same trail we took getting to Luce's, and it brought us back to Big Lake. It was a fun trip, everybody had a good time, and there were just a few scrapes and bruises, (Although a few were for the snow machines)

Best Part of the Event: going up the iciest hills
Worst Part of the Event: It was really wet at the beginning and end
Scoutmaster/Asst Scoutmaster Comments: A big thanks to Mr. Duft for organizing the trip, lending out all of his snow machines for people to use, and bringing those snow machines to Big Lake
